Electioneering in Balochistan good omen for national integrity: PM


ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Prime Minister Justice (retd) Mir Hazar Khan Khoso on Friday said that it was quite encouraging that political parties in Balochistan are taking part in the electoral process which is a good omen for the national integrity.

In his televised address to the nation, the prime minister said that he also visited Sindh and chaired a high level meeting there to review law and order and security situation and directed the concerned authorities to adopt measures so that peaceful elections could be conducted in the province.

Moreover, he said, elections activities are also continuing in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

“The elected representative government can understand the problems of people. The people should actively take part in the election process so that the dream of founding father of the nation to make Pakistan a prosperous and progressive country can be fully materialised,” the PM said.
