{"id":14179,"date":"2025-07-20T00:04:09","date_gmt":"2025-07-20T00:04:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ipp-news.com\/?p=14179"},"modified":"2025-07-20T00:04:09","modified_gmt":"2025-07-20T00:04:09","slug":"pakistan-extends-ban-on-indian-planes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ipp-news.com\/?p=14179","title":{"rendered":"Pakistan extends ban on Indian planes"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Pakistan has extended the ban on entry of Indian aircraft in Pakistan airspace for another term.<\/p>\n<p>The new restrictions came into effect at 3:20 pm on Friday \u2014 July 18 \u2014 and will continue till 4:59 am of August 24, according to the Pakistan Standard Time.<\/p>\n<p>According to a statement issued by the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), the restriction will<\/p>\n<p>apply to all planes registered in India or leased by Indian authorities or airlines.<\/p>\n<p>Pakistan closed its airspace for Indian airlines after escalation of tensions between the two nuclear-armed nations in the wake of the April 22 attack on tourists in Indian occupied Kashmir.<\/p>\n<p>This restriction is causing heavy losses to Indian airlines who now have to take much longer routes to reach various destinations including the Middle East, Europe and the United States.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pakistan has extended the ban on entry of Indian aircraft in Pakistan airspace for another term.
