{"id":16429,"date":"2025-08-12T00:04:05","date_gmt":"2025-08-12T00:04:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ipp-news.com\/?p=16429"},"modified":"2025-08-12T00:04:05","modified_gmt":"2025-08-12T00:04:05","slug":"it-internship-programme-at-kim-kicks-off","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ipp-news.com\/?p=16429","title":{"rendered":"IT internship programme at KIM kicks off"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Information Technology Board has launched a one-month voluntary internship programme at the Kashmir Institute of Management (KIM) for the graduates of its recent four-month training course.<\/p>\n<p>The programme officially began on Monday with the aim of enhancing participants&#8217; practical skills and familiarizing youth with the use of modern technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Prompt Engineering, in the public sector.<\/p>\n<p>The inaugural session provided a comprehensive briefing on the objectives and structure of the internship, as well as the mission and role of KIM in training government officials. This was followed by a series of hands-on training sessions.<\/p>\n<p>Key speakers at the event included Tariq Mehmood Butt, Abrar Ahmed, AJK Secretary of Information Technology Muhammad Rashid Hanif and KIM Director General Dr Muqeem-ul-Islam.<\/p>\n<p>Hanif emphasized the importance of equipping youth with cutting-edge technical skills and praised the efforts of the institute in this regard.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Islam thanked the chief guest and highlighted that KIM is a leading institution committed to strengthening governance through training and research.
