{"id":1882,"date":"2026-09-29T18:03:48","date_gmt":"2026-09-29T13:03:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ipp-news.com\/?p=1882"},"modified":"2026-09-29T18:03:48","modified_gmt":"2026-09-29T13:03:48","slug":"icc-announces-officials-for-pakistans-12-upcoming-international-matches","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ipp-news.com\/?p=1882","title":{"rendered":"ICC announces officials for Pakistan\u2019s 12 upcoming international matches"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><strong>The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the match officials for Pakistan\u2019s upcoming 12 international matches against Sri Lanka and England, scheduled from October 9 to November 21.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pakistan will host Sri Lanka for a three-match T20I series and a two-Test World Test Championship series.<\/p>\n<p>Between the two series, Pakistan, England and Sri Lanka will feature in a seven-match ODI tri-series in Rawalpindi and Lahore from October 18 to 31.<\/p>\n<p>Former New Zealand Test cricketer and ICC Elite Panel match referee Jeffrey Crowe will lead the playing control team for all seven matches of the ODI tri-series.<\/p>\n<p>Crowe recently became only the second referee to officiate 700 international matches.<\/p>\n<p>Pakistan\u2019s Ahsan Raza and Bangladesh\u2019s Sharfuddoula Ibne Shahid, both members of the ICC Elite Panel of Umpires, will officiate alongside New Zealand\u2019s Wayne Knights and Pakistan\u2019s Asif Yaqoob, Nasir Hussain, Rashid Riaz Waqar and Faisal Khan Aafreedi.<\/p>\n<p>For the three T20Is in Rawalpindi on October 9, 11 and 13, Ali Naqvi will serve as match referee. Rashid Riaz, Nasir Hussain and Faisal Aafreedi will share on-field and third-umpire duties, while PCB National Elite Panel umpire Tariq Rasheed will be the fourth umpire in all three matches.<\/p>\n<p>Former English first-class cricketer Dean Cosker will serve as match referee for the two Tests against Sri Lanka, marking his first Test assignment.<\/p>\n<p>He will be joined by ICC Elite Panel umpires Adrian Holdstock and Allahuddien Palekar of South Africa and Australia\u2019s Rodney Tucker.<\/p>\n<p>The first Test will be played in Rawalpindi from November 9 to 13, followed by the second in Lahore from November 17 to 21.<\/p>\n<p>Before the Test series, a three-day practice match will be held at Islamabad Club from November 4 to 6, with Ahsan Raza and Abdul Moqeet as on-field umpires and Kamran Chaudhary as match referee.<\/p>\n<p>The ODI tri-series will begin in Rawalpindi on October 18, with the final scheduled in Lahore on October 31.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the match officials for Pakistan\u2019s upcoming 12 international matches against Sri Lanka and England, scheduled from October 9 to November 21.
