Troops \u201ceffectively engaged the location,\u201d it said, adding that a sanitisation sweep was underway to clear any remaining militants.<\/p>\n<p>Islamabad called on Afghanistan\u2019s interim government to prevent the use of its territory for attacks against Pakistan, saying the military remained determined to eliminate what it described as Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country.<\/p>\n<p>Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the security forces for their successful operation against Indian-backed terrorists in Kulachi, Dera Ismail Khan.<\/p>\n<p>The minister commended the forces\u2019 professional skills in eliminating seven \u201cKhwarij,\u201d saying the security personnel had once again foiled the nefarious designs of the militants in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI salute the security forces for bringing seven Khwarij to a grim end,\u201d Naqvi said, adding that the nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its forces and values their achievements.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Khwarij will find no place to hide,\u201d he warned.<\/p>\n<p>Read:\u00a0Five terrorists killed in Khuzdar IBO: ISPR<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, four terrorists linked to the Indian proxy network Fitna al Hindustan were killed by security forces during an IBO in Balochistan\u2019s Khuzdar district.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was conducted on September 17 following reports of the terrorists\u2019 presence in the area.<\/p>\n<p>During an intense exchange of fire, security forces successfully engaged the hideout, killing the militants on the spot.<\/p>\n<p>Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from their possession. ISPR stated that the killed terrorists were actively involved in multiple terrorist activities in the region.<\/p>\n<p>A day earlier, security forces had eliminated five terrorists linked to the Indian proxy network Fitna al Hindustan during another operation in\u00a0Khuzdar district.<\/p>\n<p>The Khuzdar operation follows a series of major counter-terrorism actions across the country in recent days.<\/p>\n<p>Before this, security forces\u00a0eliminated\u00a031 terrorists associated with the Indian-sponsored Fitna al Khwarij network in Lakki Marwat and Bannu districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.<\/p>\n<p>Those operations came on the heels of a wider campaign in which 45 militants were\u00a0killed\u00a0and 19 soldiers martyred in Bajaur, South Waziristan, and Lower Dir.<\/p>\n<p>These successive operations underscore Pakistan\u2019s intensified campaign against militant groups, with the ISPR repeatedly highlighting the role of Indian proxies and the involvement of\u00a0Afghan\u00a0soil in recent attacks.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Security forces killed seven terrorists,\u00a0including three Afghan nationals and two suicide bombers, during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan district on September 20.
