Security forces eliminated 13 terrorists belonging to Indian proxies \u2014 Fitna al Khwarij and Fitna al Hindustan \u2014 during two separate intelligence-based operations in Balochistan on Tuesday and Wednesday, the Inter-Services Public Relations reported.<\/p>\n

According to ISPR, an IBO was conducted in Quetta District following confirmed reports of terrorist presence. \u201cDuring the operation, own troops effectively engaged the Khwarij hideout and, after an intense exchange of fire, 10 India-sponsored Khwarij were sent to hell,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n

In another IBO in Kech District, security forces raided a terrorist hideout and neutralised three India-sponsored terrorists belonging to Fitna al Hindustan. A cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was recovered from the slain terrorists, who had been actively involved in numerous terrorist activities.<\/p>\n

Security forces of Pakistan remain determined to eliminate the menace of Indian-sponsored terrorism from “our soil and are committed to bringing all perpetrators and their facilitators to justice,\u201d stated the ISPR.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile security forces launched another IBO in Khuzdar District on Wednesday, targeting terrorists linked to the Indian proxy network Fitna al Hindustan. \u201cDuring the operation, four terrorists attempting to flee cowardly by disguising themselves in women\u2019s attire were apprehended. Weapons and ammunition were also seized from their possession,\u201d ISPR stated.<\/p>\n

A sanitisation operation is underway to clear the area and ensure no other terrorists remain. The military media wing concluded that Pakistan\u2019s security forces will continue to pursue and neutralise all threats to national peace and stability.<\/p>\n

Suicide blast near Frontier Corps headquarters in Quetta \u00a0<\/p>\n

A day ago, at least 11 people, including two paramilitary soldiers, were martyred when a suicide bomb blast ripped through the Pishin Stop area near the Frontier Corps (FC) headquarters in Quetta, triggering a gunbattle in which security forces killed six terrorists, officials said.<\/p>\n

Security officials said the terrorists tried to storm the FC headquarters in the Balochistan capital. One of them detonated himself near a checkpoint. In the ensuing exchange of fire, security forces killed six terrorists and recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe suicide bomber, riding in a Suzuki van, detonated the device, while [at least] five of his accomplices tried to enter the compound afterwards,\u201d a senior local government official told AFP. \u201cIn the exchange of fire, all attackers were killed,\u201d the official said.<\/p>\n

\u201cTheir [security forces\u2019] timely response averted a larger tragedy,\u201d said another official. \u201cA large cache of arms and ammunition was also recovered from the terrorists,\u201d he added. Officials revealed that the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) confirmed that 30 to 40 kilogrammes of explosives were used in the blast.<\/p>\n

CCTV images shared with media showed an open-backed van turning into the entrance of the FC headquarters before the explosion. Eyewitnesses described the blast as \u201cso intense\u201d that it was heard across the city, causing panic among residents as fire and smoke billowed from the site.<\/p>\n

Rescue officials said a local passenger bus was among the targets, hit by the suicide bombing, leaving commuters and nearby pedestrians seriously wounded. Besides the 11 fatalities, nearly three-dozen others sustained injuries, according to Balochistan Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar.<\/p>\n

Many of the injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta, where several remain in critical condition, according to medics. Kakar said that an emergency had been declared in all hospitals across the city to ensure swift medical treatment for the injured.<\/p>\n

The explosion caused significant damage to nearby buildings, shattering windows and doors. Security forces cordoned off the area soon after the incident and launched a thorough investigation.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
