{"id":2693,"date":"2026-10-14T22:03:44","date_gmt":"2026-10-14T17:03:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ipp-news.com\/?p=2693"},"modified":"2026-10-14T22:03:44","modified_gmt":"2026-10-14T17:03:44","slug":"yemen-govt-says-raised-houthis-alleged-use-of-chinese-tech-with-beijing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ipp-news.com\/?p=2693","title":{"rendered":"Yemen govt says raised Houthis&#8217; alleged use of Chinese tech with Beijing"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><strong>The Yemeni government has spoken with Beijing about the Houthis\u2019 alleged attempts to utilise Chinese-made technology for weapons, a Yemeni minister said on Wednesday, as the two sides\u2019 long-running civil war escalates.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Chinese are partners and we have discussed with them about, you know, the use of dual products,\u201d Foreign Minister Afrah al-Zouba said in response to an <em>AFP<\/em> question about reports the Iran-backed group was trying to secure Chinese components to help manufacture weapons.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey were very keen for any sort of information so they can investigate it.
