International condemnation poured in over deadly suicide attack in Islamabad, with calls for the perpetrators to be brought to justice. At least 12 people were martyred and more than 36 others injured in a suicide bombing outside the District Judicial Complex in G-11 area of Islamabad on Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres condemned the heinous act. \u201cThe secretary-general is deeply saddened by the reported suicide attack, and he extends his condolences to the families of the victims and wishes a full recovery to those injured,\u201d Deputy Spokesperson Farhan Aziz Haq said in response to a question at the regular noon briefing at UN Headquarters in New York.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe secretary-general condemns acts of violence and terrorism in the strongest terms,\u201d the spokesperson said, reiterating that all perpetrators of terrorism must be held accountable.<\/p>\n

In a post on X, the United States said it stands in solidarity with Pakistan in the struggle against terrorism.\u00a0\u201cOur condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in today\u2019s senseless attack,\u201d the post read.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe wish a swift recovery to those injured. We condemn this attack and all forms of terrorism and remain committed to supporting the Government of Pakistan\u2019s efforts to ensure peace and stability in their nation,\u201d it added.<\/p>\n

China, in a post on X, condemned the Islamabad attack, and extended \u201cdeepest condolences\u201d to the relatives of the deceased.<\/p>\n

We strongly condemn the suicide blast near Islamabad District Judicial Complex, extend our deepest condolences to the deceased victims, express our sincere sympathies to their families and the injured, and we wish for the early recovery of the injured.

The United Kingdom\u2019s high commissioner to Pakistan also expressed condolences following the Islamabad court explosion.<\/p>\n

In a post on X, Jane Marriott advised British nationals to monitor travel guidance.<\/p>\n

We are aware of an explosion in Islamabad which has reportedly left several people dead. We are closely tracking, and British nationals should monitor travel advice. My thoughts are with the loved ones of those who have lost their lives.

The UK government also updated its travel advice for Pakistan after the incident, stating: \u201cAn explosion has occurred in the G-11 sector of Islamabad. The local authorities are currently investigating. If you\u2019re in the immediate area, follow their advice and monitor local media.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Turkiye\u2019s foreign ministry said that it strongly condemned the suicide bomb attack and stood with Pakistan in its battle against terrorism.<\/p>\n

“We wish Almighty\u2019s mercy upon those who lost their lives and a speedy recovery to the injured in this heinous attack,” the foreign ministry said in a statement, adding that Ankara stands by Pakistan in its fight against terrorism.<\/p>\n

Separately, Qatar condemned the attacks in Islamabad and Wana, South Waziristan, which resulted in deaths and injuries. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Qatar\u2019s firm stance rejecting all forms of violence, terrorism, and criminal acts, regardless of their motives or justifications.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the United Arab Emirates strongly condemned the terrorist bombing in the federal capital. The UAE also denounced an attack on a cadet college in Wana, South Waziristan.<\/p>\n

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it strongly condemns these criminal acts and rejects all forms of violence and terrorism that threaten security and stability.
