Despite speculation and hopes of seeing her return alongside her X-Men co-stars, Berry made it clear that her name would not appear in the film\u2019s cast list.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with Black Girl Nerds, Berry addressed the question of reprising her iconic role, stating, \u201cKeep waiting. It\u2019s not going to be there.\u201d The actress, who first portrayed Storm in 2000\u2019s X-Men and reprised the role in X2 (2003) and X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), last appeared as the weather-controlling mutant in 2014\u2019s X-Men: Days of Future Past.<\/p>\n<p>Avengers: Doomsday, slated for release on May 1, 2026, will feature several actors from the X-Men franchise returning to their iconic roles. The confirmed cast includes Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier (Professor X), Ian McKellen as Magneto, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, James Marsden as Cyclops, and Kelsey Grammer as Beast.
