In an initiative for competitive gaming in the country, the District Sports Officer South, in collaboration with Vidermedia, organised the Sindh Esports Championship 2025. The event was\u00a0promoted as the \u201cFirst Time Ever In Pakistan\u201d esports tournament.<\/p>\n

The championship boasted\u00a0a considerable prize pool of Rs1,500,000. The competition was\u00a0structured in two stages: online qualifiers followed by an in-person, LAN Grand Finals event in Karachi.<\/p>\n

The tournament focused\u00a0on two major competitive titles: CS2 (Counter-Strike 2) and Valorant. Participating teams and players chose only one title in which to compete. The event was\u00a0open to all players residing in Pakistan.<\/p>\n

The registration process for teams closed on November 5, 2025, at 9:00pm.\u00a0Following registration, the online qualifiers were\u00a0scheduled to run from November 7 to 12. The tournament\u00a0culminated in the Grand Finals, taking\u00a0place as a LAN event in Karachi on November 22.<\/p>\n

The event had a high\u00a0turnout, with over 400 teams and more than 2,500 players taking part. Team Legion\u00a0defeated Wah Wah to win the finals. Both finalists bagged a cash prize of Rs500,000 each, which was presented to them by the province’s sports minister.<\/p>\n

To ensure smooth operation, all participants had to\u00a0join the official Discord server. This server was\u00a0mandatory for managing communications, brackets, and match lobbies, particularly for the Valorant portion of the event. Teams competing in CS2 utilised\u00a0FACEIT Middle East servers, while Valorant competition took place on Bahrain servers.<\/p>\n

For teams that successfully qualified\u00a0for the LAN finals in Karachi, the organisers offered\u00a0travel and accommodation support.<\/p>\n

Fans could\u00a0register as visitors to attend the LAN Grand Finals in Karachi to view the action live. However, available seats for visitors were\u00a0limited.<\/p>\n

For those tracking the competition remotely, live brackets for both titles were\u00a0available online, hosted on Challonge, and refreshed in real time to show tournament progress.<\/p>\n
