Popular YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, widely known as \u201cDucky Bhai,\u201d has issued a public apology to the nation after remaining silent for 100 days following his arrest and subsequent release in a gambling app case.<\/p>\n

In a video uploaded to his YouTube channel on Sunday, Ducky Bhai addressed his audience directly. \u201cIf anyone believes that the purpose of this video is to justify the FIR filed against me, I apologise,\u201d he said.\u00a0He added, \u201cIf my content has had any negative impact, I sincerely apologise to the entire nation.\u201d<\/p>\n

The YouTuber explained that his intention has always been to entertain his audience and introduce fresh content. \u201cIf, knowingly or unknowingly, I uploaded content or promotions that caused a negative impact, I apologise to the nation,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The video marks Ducky Bhai\u2019s first public statement since his legal issues earlier this year, which had sparked widespread debate across social media platforms about online content and accountability.<\/p>\n

He said he would pursue his legal matters to the very end and is fully prepared to cooperate with the court. \u201cWhatever decision the judge in my case makes, I will accept it,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

In the video, Ducky Bhai shared the experience of the past three and a half months for himself and his family. He said, \u201cOn August 16, I woke up feeling happy because we had organised a gathering at our home and all our guests had arrived. After the event, we were preparing to attend an international event, packing our things.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cAfter packing, when we left the house, I had no idea of what was about to happen, and that\u2019s when my difficult time began.\u201d<\/p>\n

Case background<\/p>\n

YouTuber – Saad ur Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai – was detained in August by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) at Lahore Airport when he was attempting to flee the country. His name was placed on the Provisional National Identification List (PNIL). \u00a0<\/p>\n

Ducky Bhai was arrested following an FIR lodged by NCCIA under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016, and relevant sections of the Pakistan Penal Code.<\/p>\n

The case was registered on August 17 under sections 13 (Electronic Forgery), 14 (Electronic Fraud), 25 (Spamming) and 26 (Spoofing) of PECA, along with sections 294-B (Offering prize in connection with trade) and 420 (Cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property) of the PPC.<\/p>\n

According to the FIR, the YouTuber is accused of promoting gambling and betting applications that defrauded users and collected millions of rupees.\u00a0This is not the first controversy surrounding the YouTuber, who is among Pakistan’s most followed online personalities.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, he faced legal trouble when the Lahore High Court granted him protective bail in a reckless driving case.<\/p>\n

The incident stemmed from a viral video in which he was seen allegedly driving on motorway at a high speed, with his feet on the steering wheel, and appearing to sleep while the car moved on cruise control mode.\u00a0This stunt triggered widespread criticism on social media, with many calling it \u2018irresponsible and life-threatening\u2019.<\/p>\n
