{"id":3537,"date":"2026-10-30T14:03:55","date_gmt":"2026-10-30T09:03:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ipp-news.com\/?p=3537"},"modified":"2026-10-30T14:03:55","modified_gmt":"2026-10-30T09:03:55","slug":"singapore-foreign-minister-arrives-in-islamabad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ipp-news.com\/?p=3537","title":{"rendered":"Singapore foreign minister arrives in Islamabad"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><strong>Minister for Foreign Affairs of Singapore, Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, arrived in Islamabad on Friday.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Upon his arrival, he was received at the airport by the Director General, East Asia Pacific, the Foreign Office said.<\/p>\n<p>During the visit, Dr Balakrishnan will have comprehensive talks with the Deputy Prime Minister, Ishaq Dar, on the cooperation in bilateral and multilateral domains.<\/p>\n<p>The foreign minister of Singapore is visiting Pakistan at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar.<\/p>\n<p>The visit coincides with the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Singapore and comes ahead of Singapore\u2019s assumption of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) chairmanship in 2027.<\/p>\n<p>The two sides will also exchange a memorandum of understanding on disaster management cooperation between Pakistan\u2019s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and Singapore\u2019s Civil Defence Force (SCDF).<\/p>\n<p>Balakrishnan is also scheduled to call on Pakistan\u2019s leadership during the visit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Minister for Foreign Affairs of Singapore, Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, arrived in Islamabad on Friday.
