An erroneous message said Russia\u2019s hypersonic \u2060Oreshnik missile had been deployed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe air \u200balert app appears to have been subjected to \u200benemy influence,\u201d the air force said on Telegram. \u201cThere is no radiation threat! Stay calm and follow our \u200bupdates on our channel!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The abnormality later \u200bdisappeared.<\/p>\n<p>Ukraine\u2019s Ministry for Digital Transformation said the app was \u200cnot \u2060in operation, but other means of alerting the public were functioning, as were air raid sirens.<\/p>\n<p>In a separate event, the mobile \u200bapp of Russia\u2019s \u200bemergencies \u2060ministry was hit by a massive cyberattack that resulted in the \u200bspread of false information to the \u200bpublic, \u2060state news agency TASS <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"link--external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/technology\/russian-emergencies-ministrys-mobile-app-hit-by-cyberattack-tass-says-2026-11-02\/\">quoted<\/a> the ministry as saying early on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>It was not \u2060immediately clear \u200bwhether the two incidents \u200bwere linked.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ukraine\u2019s Air Force said on Sunday that the public \u200bair raid alert app had been \u200chacked.
