{"id":3674,"date":"2025-04-13T12:02:41","date_gmt":"2025-04-13T12:02:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ipp-news.com\/?p=3674"},"modified":"2025-04-13T12:02:41","modified_gmt":"2025-04-13T12:02:41","slug":"pti-outlines-new-policy-for-meetings-with-imran-khan-in-jail","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ipp-news.com\/?p=3674","title":{"rendered":"PTI outlines new policy for meetings with Imran Khan in jail"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced a new policy\u00a0for meetings with its founder and former prime minister Imran Khan, currently in jail, Express News reported on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement issued after a political committee meeting, PTI said that a five-member committee will be formed to manage and approve the list of people allowed to meet Khan.<\/p>\n<p>The list will be finalised every Tuesday and Thursday and submitted to prison authorities through one of three designated focal persons;\u00a0Gohar Ali Khan, Salman Akram Raja or Intizar Panjhotha.<\/p>\n<p>The party warned that no individual outside the approved list will be permitted to meet Khan. Any member defying this rule will be considered in violation of party discipline.<\/p>\n<p>If prison officials block any approved visitor, the remaining committee members will protest by meeting Khan collectively.
