{"id":3779,"date":"2026-11-04T07:03:45","date_gmt":"2026-11-04T02:03:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ipp-news.com\/?p=3779"},"modified":"2026-11-04T07:03:45","modified_gmt":"2026-11-04T02:03:45","slug":"trump-rages-at-fox-as-us-midterms-voting-wraps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ipp-news.com\/?p=3779","title":{"rendered":"Trump rages at Fox as US midterms voting wraps"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><strong>President Donald Trump lashed out at conservative channel Fox News on Tuesday in a sign of early frustration as he watched the US midterm election results at the White House.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The 80-year-old posted three angry messages on his Truth Social network about <em>Fox<\/em>, blaming its recent ratings decline on not being sufficiently loyal to him.<\/p>\n<p>In one post sent as the first polls closed, Trump said <em>Fox<\/em> was \u201cway down, not because of me, but because they are AGAINST me!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In another post, Trump blasted one host as \u201cDUMB AS A ROCK\u201d, and in a third he slammed a <em>Fox<\/em> poll of voters\u2019 opinions as \u201calways the worst.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFoxNews Ratings are way down (27%!) because they\u2019re spending too much time covering the Trump Deranged Dumocrats!\u201d Trump added.<\/p>\n<p>The midterm elections will determine whether Republicans keep control of Congress and will shape the rest of Trump\u2019s second term.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"media  w-full sm:w-full  media--center    media--uneven  media--stretch\" data-original-src=\"https:\/\/ipp-news.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/11\/040625280b09a9a.webp\">\n<div class=\"media__item  \"><picture><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ipp-news.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/11\/040625280b09a9a.webp\" alt=\"\"><\/picture><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>His rageposting came shortly before he hosted an \u201celection night viewing reception\u201d for cabinet members and administration officials in the East Room of the White House.<\/p>\n<p>A White House official had earlier described the mood there as \u201ccautiously optimistic.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe president has left it all out on the field, and he\u2019s done everything that was needed. Republicans are in a better spot now than they were four weeks ago,\u201d the official told <em>AFP.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Trump held near-daily rallies in the month before the midterms, urging Republicans to \u201cpretend I\u2019m on the ballot\u201d despite his own record-low approval ratings.<\/p>\n<p>But polls show Democrats with a good chance of seizing the House and possibly the Senate amid voter anger over the economy and the Iran war.<\/p>\n<p>Trump threatened in a telephone interview with the <em>CBS<\/em> network on Tuesday to be \u201cMr Veto\u201d and block any Democratic legislation if they win.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>President Donald Trump lashed out at conservative channel Fox News on Tuesday in a sign of early frustration as he watched the US midterm election results at the White House.
