Iran\u2019s semi-official Tasnim news agency \u200bsaid on Saturday that initial reports indicated \u200cthat two missiles had struck Qeshm Island, adding there was no official information on \u200bpossible damage.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tasnim said further details would \u200bbe released once relevant authorities confirmed \u2060the incident.<\/p>\n

The state news agency IRNA \u200bhad earlier reported that local witnesses \u200bsaid two projectiles had struck the Suza area of Qeshm Island in southern Iran after \u200bthe sound of an aircraft was \u200bheard over the island.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, Qatar\u2019s International Media \u200cOffice \u2060denied circulating reports that the United States and Iran had failed to reach an agreement to end their war, \u200bdescribing these \u200ballegations as \u2060false and misleading.<\/p>\n

It said the Qatari prime minister had \u200baffirmed that both sides continue \u200bto \u2060work toward an agreement.<\/p>\n
