Performing in the league is great, but the ultimate goal is to deliver the same for Pakistan,\u201d the 31-year-old said.<\/p>\n<p>The right-arm pacer, formerly with Islamabad United, underlined the league\u2019s significance in shaping the careers of local players.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPSL is the biggest brand in Pakistan and a globally recognised league. It has not only uplifted players financially but also elevated their careers. Though the excitement seems slightly down this season, senior players are stepping up to reignite the spark and capture fans\u2019 attention,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Discussing the evolving nature of T20 cricket, Faheem acknowledged the challenges bowlers face and admitted his growing interest in contributing with the bat.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cT20 cricket is tough on bowlers, so I enjoy batting more these days. High scores aren\u2019t just an IPL thing \u2014 our players are equally explosive. In the PSL, every team is strong, and the real competition only reveals itself midway through the tournament,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Quetta Gladiators began their PSL 10 campaign with a win over Peshawar Zalmi, defending a 217-run total and bowling out Babar Azam\u2019s side for 136 at the Pindi Cricket Stadium.<\/p>\n<p>However, their momentum dipped in the second fixture against Lahore Qalandars, where Shaheen Afridi\u2019s team posted 220 runs and dismissed Quetta for 140.<\/p>\n<p>The Gladiators will next face Karachi Kings at the National Bank Stadium on April 18 in their third match of the tournament.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Faheem Ashraf, Quetta Gladiators&#8217; all-rounder, remains determined to maintain consistency in the ongoing HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) season and has set his sights on delivering similar performances for the national team.
