Their services and dedication to Pakistan are commendable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir, federal ministers, and senior officials.<\/p>\n<p>PM Shehbaz noted that a large number of overseas Pakistanis participated in the recent Overseas Pakistanis Convention, reflecting their trust in government policies. \u201cWe salute their sincerity, love for the homeland, and the sacrifices they have made,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The PM\u00a0lauded the global achievements of overseas Pakistanis, particularly in fields such as medicine, education, engineering, and consultancy. \u201cThey have earned a respectable name for themselves and the country through hard work and integrity,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>He further stated that the government had recently launched a major initiative to honour their contributions. \u201cOverseas Pakistanis who have performed exceptionally in various sectors abroad or sent the highest remittances via the State Bank will be honoured with civil awards,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The government, he assured, is committed to resolving the issues faced by overseas Pakistanis on a priority basis.
