{"id":48512,"date":"2026-04-20T21:04:41","date_gmt":"2026-04-20T21:04:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ipp-news.com\/?p=48512"},"modified":"2026-04-20T21:04:41","modified_gmt":"2026-04-20T21:04:41","slug":"afridi-steps-up-school-reform-push","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ipp-news.com\/?p=48512","title":{"rendered":"Afridi steps up school reform push"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi on Monday chaired a high-level meeting at the Chief Minister&#8217;s House to review ongoing reforms in the education sector and deliberate on proposed initiatives aimed at transforming the province&#8217;s learning landscape.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting assessed progress on current reforms and held detailed discussions on new measures to enhance access, quality and innovation in education. CM Afridi directed the release of Rs500 million for the establishment of an Inter-Disciplinary Research Centre in the province. He also endorsed the proposal to set up community schools in far-flung areas to accelerate the literacy rate.<\/p>\n<p>Participants agreed to expand the double-shift school programme and introduce IT and Artificial Intelligence (AI) courses across educational institutions.
