Blanco added, \u201cRight away, her heart started beating quickly, she started getting a rash on her face and she was so nervous.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gomez said the moment was meaningful because she had not felt that way about anyone in years. \u201cSome kisses are for fun and then when you feel something behind the kiss it\u2019s completely different,\u201d she said. \u201cI didn\u2019t want to be like, \u2018I like you, I really like you.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The couple confirmed their relationship in December 2023 and announced their engagement a year later, with Gomez posting a photo of her diamond ring and writing, \u201cForever begins now.\u201d They first met in 2013 through Gomez\u2019s mother and later worked together on tracks from her 2015 album Revival.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Selena Gomez has opened up about the beginning of her relationship with fianc\u00e9 Benny Blanco, sharing a candid moment from their early days as a couple.
