In a statement published on its official website, Rockstar said the delay is necessary to meet player expectations for quality and polish.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are very sorry that this is later than you expected,\u201d Rockstar said. \u201cThe interest and excitement surrounding a new Grand Theft Auto has been truly humbling for our entire team. Parent company Take-Two Interactive may share further details during its next financial results call on 15 May.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the delay, anticipation for GTA VI remains strong.
