Islamabad and Quetta hit 33\u00b0C, and Muzaffarabad and Gilgit reached 29\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p>In Punjab, intense storms and gusty winds broke a prolonged heatwave, bringing welcome relief. The Pakistan Meteorological Department said rainy conditions are expected to persist today.<\/p>\n<p>The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) cautioned that lightning risk remains elevated during this period.<\/p>\n<p>Rain and strong winds were reported in several districts including Lahore and Islamabad, disrupting weeks of extreme heat.
