Sources indicate he would aim to present a \u201cpositive and constructive program,\u201d offering FIA delegates an alternative vision for the organisation\u2019s future.<\/p>\n<p>Ben Sulayem, also 63 and a former rally driver, has led the FIA since 2021 following Jean Todt\u2019s 12-year tenure. The next presidential election is expected later this year, although no official date has been confirmed.<\/p>\n<p>Sainz\u2019s potential bid comes amid mounting dissatisfaction with Ben Sulayem\u2019s leadership.
