In a dramatic stunt aimed at Elon Musk\u2019s growing political footprint in Europe, a 98-year-old World War II veteran drove a Sherman tank over a Tesla Model 3, flattening the vehicle to protest Musk\u2019s endorsement of far-right parties.<\/p>\n

The video, released by British activist group Led By Donkeys, has gone viral \u2014 and sparked fresh debate about the tech billionaire\u2019s influence on European democracy.<\/p>\n

Ken Turner, a decorated veteran, is seen in the video confronting Musk\u2019s political alliances, especially his support for parties like Germany\u2019s far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD).<\/p>\n

Standing in front of the camera before climbing into the vintage tank, Turner delivers a defiant message: “We’ve crushed fascism before, and we’ll crush it again.”<\/p>\n

The Tesla, emblazoned with a license plate reading \u201cFASCISM,\u201d was destroyed in a muddy British field, a symbolic takedown of what Turner and the protest group see as the billionaire\u2019s backing of authoritarian ideologies.<\/p>\n

\u201cElon Musk, the richest man in the world, is using his immense power to support the far-right in Europe,\u201d Turner states in the video. \u201cAnd his money comes from Tesla cars.\u201d<\/p>\n

The protest comes amid sharp criticism of Musk\u2019s increasingly active role in global politics.<\/p>\n

Since joining President Donald Trump\u2019s administration in a senior advisory capacity earlier this year, Musk has aligned himself with anti-establishment movements in Germany and the UK.<\/p>\n

The backlash has already impacted Tesla\u2019s business, with European sales plummeting in Q1 2025.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the group\u2019s first jab at Musk.<\/p>\n
