Lively filed a lawsuit alleging sexual harassment and retaliation. Baldoni denied the claims and filed a $400 million countersuit, accusing Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and others of defamation and civil extortion.<\/p>\n<p>Freedman also confirmed that Baldoni\u00a0will testify during the March 2026 trial, which will not be broadcast. Lively\u2019s attorney, Mike Gottlieb, confirmed that she will also give evidence in court and criticised what he called the defence\u2019s \u201cmedia circus\u201d approach.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe has been testifying since the moment she auditioned for this part,\u201d Freedman said. \u201cIf she is suddenly now willing to sit for a deposition, I am available.
