After Liz Gillies and Daniella Monet praised Grande\u2019s vocal habits, Justice added, \u201cI think we all sing.\u201d The remark quickly spread on social media and was widely interpreted as a sign of rivalry, despite Justice repeatedly denying any conflict.<\/p>\n<p>Now, in 2025, Justice has revealed how deeply the online backlash affected her. Speaking on Mythical Kitchen\u2019s Last Meals, she described receiving death threats and feeling publicly hated. \u201cThere was a time for so long on the internet where I felt like people hated me,\u201d she said. \u201cI got so much hate, dude. I got death threats.\u201d She also shared how the experience impacted her mother, who was distressed by the online hostility directed at her daughter.<\/p>\n<p>Justice reflected on how the meme took on a life of its own, saying, \u201cIt\u2019s factual. We did all sing, OK? What do you want from me?!\u201d Although once overwhelmed by the online narrative, she now views the incident with humour and distance. \u201cNow I think it\u2019s funny. I\u2019m in on the joke. I even say it to myself all the time,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>She added that she and Ariana Grande exchanged messages to clarify misunderstandings, stating the narrative of jealousy is no longer relevant.
