So they cleared me,\u201d she said, confirming she was never named in the ongoing class action lawsuit.<\/p>\n<p>Welch emphasized that she earned only a marketing fee and made no profit from the coin\u2019s rise and fall. \u201cAll the money I got went to PR, lawyers\u2014everything. I came out with nothing,\u201d she added. She also expressed remorse for fans who lost money, saying, \u201cIt makes me feel really bad that they trusted me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Following the coin\u2019s crash, Welch received threats and even had FBI agents show up at her grandmother\u2019s house. Despite the trauma, she said she has been fully cleared and is ready to move forward. \u201cIt was definitely scary\u2026 but legally, I wasn\u2019t in any trouble.
