Militants attack cash van in Bannu, seize millions and firearms
Militants have looted a cash van carrying Rs80 million in the Domel area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bannu district, sources said on Wednesday.
The sources said that during the incident, the assailants not only seized money but also took four rifles and two pistols from the van.
Following the attack, the perpetrators reportedly shared a photograph with the cash van on social media, highlighting the audacity of the robbery.
Local sources stated that the attackers used weapons to overpower the van staff and fled the scene after completing the heist.
It is believed that a banned organisation may have been involved in the incident.
However, authorities have not issued a statement regarding the incident.
