The state-of-the-art plant, built at international standards and equipped with modern machinery worth millions of rupees, had reportedly been lying inactive for the past eight months. The Chief Minister’s visit came after he received complaints from various sources regarding the prolonged closure of the facility.
Expressing displeasure over the situation, Gandapur directed the concerned authorities to make the processing plant and training centre fully operational by October 15, warning that failure to do so would result in strict action against all responsible officials.
He further instructed that the registration process for training programs be initiated immediately, and the model meat shop within the training centre be made functional without delay. The Chief Minister also ordered necessary measures to begin international-standard certification at the facility.
