A delegation of the International Advisory Board of the Samson Group of Companies called on Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Industries and Production Haroon Akhtar Khan in Islamabad.
The delegation included Lord Aamer Sarfraz of Kensington, General Patrick Sander, Mian Yousaf Jamal Shah, Waqar Malik, Group CEO Waseemur Rehman, Barrister Mansoor Shah, General Manager Martin Schultz, and Colonel Asif Chaudhry.
During the meeting, discussions focused on the role of the Ministry of Industries and Production, industrial development, and the promotion of tourism in Pakistan.
Akhtar appreciated the efforts of PC Malam Jabba and Malam Jabba Resort for their contribution to promoting tourism in
the region.
“Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif envisions promoting Pakistan’s tourism industry at an international level,” said Akhtar. “The growth of tourism will create vast employment opportunities across the country,” he added.
The SAPM emphasised that the prime minister aims to provide world-class facilities in the northern areas, which are blessed with immense natural beauty. “The development of these regions is among the government’s top priorities,” he said.
He further noted that investment opportunities in Pakistan are vast, and the government remains committed to providing all possible support to investors.
Projects like Malam Jabba Resort, he said, “reflect Pakistan’s positive image globally” and contribute significantly to the national tourism sector.
The International Advisory Board and CEO of Malam Jabba reaffirmed their commitment to developing world-class resorts in Pakistan’s northern areas to attract international tourists and strengthen the hospitality industry.
