Railways Minister Hanif Abbasi said on Tuesday that Pakistan Railways would reduce costs and improve connectivity to ensure more facilitation for the business community at large.

Speaking at the LCCI, the minister said Pakistan regained its reputation as a responsible and peace-loving country at the global level. “We are not terrorists but ambassadors of peace.”

He said it was the right time to improve Pakistan’s economy and urged the people to have confidence, adding that investment would boost industries and drive national progress.

“We were once on the ventilator, but not anymore,” he said.
