In a separate incident, two explosions due to gas leaks occurred in the Ahmedabad area of Dhimal Road and the Gulrez area, resulting in injuries to four people, including two women. The injured were provided initial medical treatment before being shifted to nearby hospitals.
Preliminary reports suggest that the explosion in the Gulrez area occured when an electrical switch was turned on during a gas leak, while in Ahmedabad, the blast occurred when a lamp was lit in a house experiencing a gas leak.
Authorities have urged residents to exercise caution while handling gas appliances and to report any leaks immediately to prevent such tragic incidents.
