On January 12, security forces killed four Indian-sponsored terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Kalat District of Balochistan, the military’s media wing said on Monday. The operation was conducted following credible reports of the presence of terrorists affiliated with the Indian proxy group ‘Fitna al-Hindustan’
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the terrorists were neutralised after an intense exchange of fire, while weapons and ammunition were recovered from the site. The eliminated terrorists had been involved in multiple acts of terrorism in the region, it added.
The ISPR further reported that sanitisation operations are ongoing to ensure no other Indian-sponsored terrorists remain in the area.
The military’s media wing stressed that the relentless counter-terrorism campaign, conducted under the vision ‘Azm-e-Istehkam’ and approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, will continue at full pace.
