Yes, synchronised attacks give you ‘transient media advantage’ before your gullible recruits; but remember military operates under the punishing dictates of the ‘Law of Diminishing Returns’. And that means, the hardened Pakistan Military, with robust recruitment, training and logistic systems, can and will recoup from its far lesser losses, while you will not be able to replace your experienced cadre of over 200 terrorists, killed. And your ethnic killing spree will never endear you to the silent majority of peaceful Baloch people, a substantial numbers of whom live in other provinces of Pakistan.
Also get your facts right. Your predatory Sardars were not imposed on you by the Federation of Pakistan, that Balochistan voluntarily joined on March 27, 1948, when Nehru rebuffed the Khan of Kalat’s overtures to join India. It was Makran, Labella, Kharan and the Pashtun belt that urged Jinnah to let Balochistan be part of Muslim Pakistan. While Jhalawan and Sarawan, under the influence of the manipulative Khan, sought to exploit union with Pakistan, for political advantage.
If you are naraz for your ‘perceived’ deprivation, look not beyond the high walls of your Sardars’ mansions, housing private jails and other entrapments of coercion. They are culprits and the problem, if the fruits of federal largesse have not trickled down to you. Their self-enrichment, corruption and blackmailing of the federation, to gouge out funds, is an open secret. Go through some facts and figures. Census 2017 has Balochistan’s population at 12.34 million (5.94% of Pakistan’s population). Out of this, 35.49% speak Balochi, 35.34% speak Pashto and 17.12% are Brahui speakers, not counting the numerous Afghans/others. Dravidian Brahuis were here, long before Baloch migration, from Western Arabia/Iran, around 14th/15th Century. So, theoretically speaking, you do not even have popular hold in the entire Baloch belt save for Kalat, Jhalawan and Sarawan, what to talk of the equally larger Pashtun belt to the North.
And again, in theory, if your so-called war of liberation from the ‘Punjabi Establishment’ ever delivers you a truncated Balochistan, it will not be the greater Balochistan of today, that you and your Sardars exploit vengefully on totally fabricated grounds. And the moment you achieve this ‘impossible’ goal, you will fight among yourselves like vultures, like you have done for centuries. Remember! There is no Lee Kuan Yew amongst you to help exploit the ‘yet to be tapped’ riches from the sea corridor and minerals. Arid, sparsely populated, conservative and tribal Balochistan in the stranglehold of recalcitrant Sardars-cum-politicians will be no Singapore. And in the ensuing tribal, ethnically polarised and politically divided landscape, Iran, India, China and even Afghanistan would dominate you, replacing the ‘Punjabi’ thorn. Get some reading on power politics. No country likes instability in its near abroad. Sharks in the sea feed on smaller fish.
By continuing with the wayward romanticism of your misdirected struggle against the benevolent Federation of Pakistan, your leaders are doing no favour to your future generations, who are doomed to be left behind in the militancy-hit parts of the Baloch belt. Again, do some research and quick math. Compare the educational, health facilities, communication means, trade and commerce opportunities available to you before 1947, with now. Also, the quota system is helping mainstream you, despite the prying eyes of your exploitative Sardars, who have kept you in tribal and cultural chains.
So go ahead, fight your government, your military and your people to perish in ignominy like those before you. And also seek ‘more’ military advice from RAW. A professional military does not keep its reserve responses at one place and at one tier. And Pakistan has not even committed 1/20th of its military might against you. Even then you are numerically so down that you are pushing your women to the fighting. You and your recalcitrant, ill-willed Sardars need to know that if the ante is upped militarily, they will find no place to hide in their touted mountain strongholds. Technology, resolve and unbearable punishment will catch up before you can flee, after cowardly attacks on innocent people. And this time, you would find no refuge in Afghanistan or Iran; New Delhi is far away. Your universe is crumbling, so hasten it up! Wait for the fury from the air, on the land and in the sea. You face a deadly military which knows how to smoke you out and kill you. Good riddance! There may be no reconciliation this time with criminals like you, as the crisis-confident civil and military leadership is not going to bribe your Sardars anymore. Remember! Balochistan was, Balochistan is and Balochistan, Insha Allah, will always remain part of Pakistan.
