Police have seized wheat and flour worth over Rs441 million while foiling their attempted illegal transportation.
Wahwa police, under the supervision of SHO Asmat Ullah, took two vehicles into custody and seized a huge quantity of smuggled commodities.
According to police officials, 2,24 tonnes of wheat was seized, valued at approximately Rs268.8 million, while 1,329 tonnes of flour worth Rs172.8 million was also seized.
The total value of the seized wheat and flour was estimated at Rs441.4 million, making it one of the biggest anti-smuggling operations in the district.
