The Mexican beauty queen was attending the traditional celebration as a guest of honor and was warmly welcomed by cheering crowds. Dressed elegantly and waving from one of the main floats, Bosch appeared in high spirits before her demeanor suddenly changed.
Video circulating online shows Bosch smiling and greeting spectators moments before she appears dizzy. She is seen attempting to steady herself by grabbing the float’s railing but ultimately drops to her knees. At one point, she touches her chest as if struggling to catch her breath. Witnesses say the shift happened within seconds.
Event staff, security personnel and members of her team rushed to her side immediately. A collaborator climbed onto the float to support her, and paramedics were reportedly called to assess her condition on-site. Although she fell to the ground, she did not appear to fully lose consciousness.
According to reports, Bosch was excused from the remainder of the parade and taken for further medical evaluation as a precaution. The Miss Universe organization had not issued an official statement at the time of publication regarding the exact cause of the incident.
Ambato sits approximately 2,500 meters above sea level, and some observers suggested that the high altitude – combined with a demanding schedule – may have contributed to dizziness or shortness of breath.
Despite the scare, Bosch was able to stand with assistance and briefly smile and acknowledge the crowd before being escorted away, drawing applause and supportive cheers from attendees.
