Camila Cabello has officially parted ways with her longtime manager, Roger Gold, as per Billboard.

Gold, who has managed Cabello since the beginning of her solo career in 2016, guided the artist through her transition from Fifth Harmony to becoming a solo star. He played a key role in her rise, notably during the release of her debut solo single “Havana” in 2017, which became a chart-topping hit. Cabello’s success continued with hits such as “Señorita,” her collaboration with Shawn Mendes, which also reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2019.

Before managing Cabello, Gold was instrumental in co-launching the independent label 300 Entertainment, which signed artists like Megan Thee Stallion, Gunna, and Migos. The label was acquired by Warner Music Group in 2021 and later became 300 Elektra Entertainment Group under Atlantic Music Group in 2022.

Cabello’s most recent project, her fourth album C,XOXO, peaked at No. 13 on the Billboard 200 and marked her first release under Geffen and Interscope after leaving Epic Records, the label where she started her career with Fifth Harmony. In a 2024 Billboard cover story, Gold shared insights into Cabello’s artistic journey, emphasizing her commitment to creative freedom, despite the pressures of the music industry.

Gold will continue to manage other clients under Gold Music Management, while Cabello embarks on the next phase of her career without his guidance.
