Flanked by fellow provincial lawmakers, Khurshidi expressed serious concern over the continued “poor performance” of the city’s sole power distributor and accused K-E CEO of evading responsibility. He raised pointed questions, but according to participants, the CEO’s responses were vague and failed to offer any meaningful solutions.

He added that the entire city was enduring extended and unannounced power outages, with growing public frustration over K-E’s failure to manage supply and demand effectively.
