Eyewitness Ahmed Ali recounted the traumatic experience, stating that the children were seen holding hands at one point, and one of them even tried to escape but could not. “It felt as if humanity had ceased to exist,” he remarked.

ASI Raza Butt, who responded to the scene, said the police received a report from a caller named Rana Safdar, who informed them about the bodies floating in the sea. The authorities are working to identify the bodies and determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Edhi officials confirmed that their maritime rescue team searched the deep waters but found no trace of the man or the children. The rescue operation will resume on Friday morning.
