A fire broke out at a girls’ primary school in the Manglor area (Barqala), Swat. The fire destroyed the school’s furniture, reducing it to a pile of ashes.
Local residents rushed to the scene to help extinguish the blaze, which officials say was caused by an electrical short circuit.
Police have been dispatched to the scene to investigate.
