According to the details, a total of 39 exam centres have been established across the Rawalpindi division, including 15 for male students, 16 for female students and eight mixed centres. Accordingly, 39 centre superintendents, 47 deputy superintendents and around 320 invigilators have been deployed for the exam process.
Controller of Examinations Tanveer Asghar Awan assured that the Punjab government’s zero-tolerance policy against malpractices would be strictly enforced. “Any instance of cheating or irregularity will face immediate action,” he said, emphasising a robust crackdown on the ‘booti mafia’. To provide tight security, lists of exam staff have been forwarded to the police Special Branch, while all law enforcement agencies remain on high alert.
