The dispute over flour supply between the district administration, the Food Department, and the Naanbai Association was amicably resolved on Tuesday.

Following successful negotiations, the association called off its planned shutter-down strike scheduled for today (Wednesday) and instead announced a new strike date of November 5.

According to the association, if by November 4 the government fails to restore full gas supply to tandoors, reduce gas and electricity tariffs, and cease the sealing of tandoors and arrests of bakers by the PERA force, a complete shutter-down strike will be observed on November 5.
