The order, imposed through an amendment to an earlier notification issued on November 5, will remain in effect until November 30, 2025.
Gatherings or sit-ins consisting of five or more people have been prohibited. Face coverings that prevent identification, including masks, mufflers, or veils, have also been restricted
The order has banned pillion riding on motorcycles, but has exempted elderly people, women, and children from this prohibition.
Further, the use of unregistered motorcycles, tinted windows on vehicles, and the carrying or brandishing of weapons has also been banned.

Violations of the order will be dealt with under Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code, according to the notification.
Section 188 criminalises the disobedience of a lawful order, with punishment varying based on the severity of the disobedience. A violator may be imprisoned for up to six months or may have to pay a fine.
Law enforcement authorities, including the police and the Frontier Corps, have been directed to strictly enforce the order. Deputy commissioners are to submit daily compliance reports to the Home Department.
