In a major legal setback for YouTuber Adil Raja, a London High Court judge has ordered him pay a total of £310,000 in damages and legal costs by Dec 22.
Raja, a YouTuber and retired Pakistan Army major, has been accused by the state of spreading anti-state propaganda.
Of the amount, £50,000 is for damages, while £260,000 covers legal expenses.
Raja has been ordered to publish a public apology on all his social media accounts for his false claims and to keep the apology online for at least 28 days.
The ruling was delivered by Justice Richard Spearman during a high court hearing.
