The bodies were found near the Mai Kolachi Road Railway Crossing. Edhi Foundation teams retrieved the bodies, and transported them to a hospital, where identification of the victims is underway.
Reacting to the incident, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah called for immediate action. He directed police and relevant authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into the case and ensure that all aspects of the incident are examined to hold the responsible people accountable.
The chief minister also ordered that a report on the investigation be submitted without delay and assured that the Sindh government would provide justice to the affected families. He emphasised that protecting the lives and property of citizens remains the government’s foremost responsibility.
Police have registered a case and are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
