Nine India-backed terrorists killed in Balochistan operations: ISPR
Security forces killed nine terrorists in two intelligence-based operations in Balochistan’s Kachhi and Wadh districts on October 26, the military’s media wing said on Wednesday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operations targeted members of the Indian-sponsored Fitna Al Hindustan group.
During the operation in Kachhi, security forces located and destroyed a terrorist hideout, killing seven militants in an exchange of fire.
Two more terrorists were killed during a separate operation in Wadh after their movement was detected and intercepted.
Weapons and ammunition were recovered during both operations, the ISPR said, adding that clearance operations were underway to eliminate any remaining terrorists in the areas.
The military said counterterrorism operations would continue under the vision of Azm-e-Istehkam, approved by the federal apex committee under the National Action Plan, until the threat of foreign-sponsored terrorism was eliminated.
