Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has begun preparations for Ramazan by issuing tenders for the procurement of dates and juices to be served to passengers for iftar on domestic and international flights during the holy month.
Under the tender, 130,000 packets of dates, each weighing between 30 and 35 grams, will be procured for distribution on flights during Ramazan. The airline has also issued a separate tender for the supply of 200ml juice packs, with millions of units to be purchased for iftar service.
Interested suppliers have been instructed to submit their applications to PIA’s supply chain department by January 14.
