Farhan’s 49-ball century marked his first in the PSL and placed him alongside T20 greats Chris Gayle (2011), Virat Kohli (2016), Jos Buttler (2022) and Shubman Gill (2023) as the only players to register four T20 hundreds in a single year.
He is the first Pakistani batter to achieve this milestone in just nine innings.

His innings helped Islamabad United post a commanding 243/5 after being asked to bat first.
The start was shaky, with opener Andries Gous dismissed for a duck via run out by Tom Kohler-Cadmore at 9/1 in 1.2 overs.
However, Farhan and Colin Munro countered with a rapid 100-run stand, bringing the total to 128/1 by the 11th over.
Farhan reached his century off 49 balls, matching the record for the fastest century by an Islamabad United player in PSL history.
His 144-run partnership with Munro, who made 40, ended when Alzarri Joseph removed the New Zealand batter at 153/2 in the 14th over.

Jason Holder and Ben Dwarshuis added 20 and 18 runs unbeaten, respectively, guiding United to a mammoth total.
Farhan’s knock not only laid the foundation for a likely Islamabad win but also added a significant chapter to his growing T20 legacy.
