Sindh Minister for Agriculture, Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Mehr, made the announcement while addressing a seminar held at a hotel in Karachi. He stated that the new desk will provide targeted support to women engaged in farming by offering information on modern agricultural practices, high-yield crops, and sustainable farming techniques.
Under the Benazir Bhutto Hari Card initiative, the Sindh government is also extending services such as solar-powered tube wells, crop insurance, and watercourse lining to farmers across the province. The minister added that these facilities, along with the help desk, are intended to enhance agricultural productivity and economic resilience, particularly for women in rural communities.
