The Ministry of IT and Telecommunications had announced the state-of-the-art facilitiy, spanning 720,000 square feet. The facility is being promoted as the country’s most advanced IT infrastructure.
It is designed to host over 120 IT and IT-enabled services (ITeS) companies, including established exporters and early-stage startups.
The multistorey park includes two basements, a ground floor and nine upper levels, with dedicated office spaces, a startup incubation centre comprising 15 units, and access to legal, marketing and financial advisory services.
A key feature is Pakistan’s first Tier III Data Centre, built on international standards, providing robust data security and uninterrupted operations for resident firms.
To foster innovation and industry-academia collaboration, the park will also host an industry-academia linkage centre, R&D labs, virtual training zones, and business facilitation centres aimed at skill development and talent pipeline enhancement.
Located in the capital, the facility positions Islamabad as a strategic destination for digital foreign direct investment.
The initiative is being supported by stakeholders including the Ministry of IT and Telecom, the Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA), and the Pakistan Freelancers Association.
A similar project is planned near Karachi airport to expand the national digital infrastructure.
